Black Holes

The CGHS model provides a very interesting and tractable model of black hole formation and Hawking evaporation in two-dimensional dilaton gravity. The paper with Dabholkar, Gauntlett and Waldram was an early attempt to connect perturbative BPS states with black holes, a topic that has been intensively developed in the last 20 years.
